MABcars AutoTrade (“MABcars”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It is written to comply with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.

Information we collect

  • Details you submit in our forms: your name, mobile number, email address, and information about your car (brand, model, year, mileage, condition, location, financing status, photos).
  • Messages you send us by phone, Viber, email or the contact form.
  • Technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through server logs and analytics.

How we use it

  • To obtain dealer offers for your car and relay the highest offer to you.
  • To arrange viewings, payments and the transfer of ownership once you accept an offer.
  • To answer enquiries about listed cars and financing.
  • To improve the website and, with your consent, send you updates about our services.

Who we share it with

Your car details are shared with certified partner dealers so they can bid. Plate numbers are masked and your name and contact details are shared only with the winning dealer after you accept an offer. We may also share information with service providers who host our systems or send communications on our behalf, and with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise it. We use reasonable organisational, physical and technical measures to protect it.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to its processing, or withdraw consent by calling (02) 8687-3305 or messaging us on Viber. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
